Hospital Assn. of So. Calif.‘s Active Shooter Exercise
After each of the exercises, participants discussed the event. Some of the best practices covered included radio interoperability, locks on doors and sharing building plans with local first responders. There was also a discussion about the difference between a hostage situation v. an active shooter situation.
