A 10-year-old boy was molested July 5 in a Dameron Hospital restroom while waiting for his father to be treated, reports KCRA.com.

According to news reports, the boy was attacked around 2 p.m. The boy was allegedly forced into a bathroom stall by a man described as a white male in his mid-20’s with short black hair, with a medium build about 5 foot 8 inches tall. Police said they didn’t hear about the attack until July 7.

The alleged attacker changed his clothing after the incident and left the hospital, police said.

Police are currently reviewing surveillance videos for more information. Hospital officials said cameras are installed in a nearby hallway, but not in the restroom. Additionally, three security officers are always on duty at the facility.
