Hospital Security Officer Opens Fire on Driver

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A security officer at the McConnell Heart Hospital opened fire after a driver allegedly tried to run him over at the hospital’s emergency entrance.

Security was called after the driver got into an argument with a parking attendant, NBC4i.com reports. When the security officer arrived on the scene, the driver reportedly tried to run him over.

The officer fired his weapon, and the driver fled the scene. It is not known if the shots hit the vehicle.
