LOS ANGELES — A hospital janitor who fatally stabbed a transient outside the Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Solomon Lee Washington instructed Michael Vizkelety to leave hospital property and alerted security, the LAist reports. Before security arrived, Vizkelety and Washington became engaged in a scuffle and Washington allegedly stabbed Vizkelety with a small folding knife.
Washington could face a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison if convicted.
