Four Chicago teens have been charged with first-degree murder for fatally beating a 16-year-old student as he walked home from school on Sept. 24.

The suspects, Silvonus Shannon, 19, Eugene Bailey, 18, Eugene Riley, 18, and Eric Carson, 16, have been charged as adults. According to Fox News, several of the attackers used splintered railroad ties in the beating. Police are still looking for at least three more suspects.

According to witnesses, Derrion Albert was just a bystander that got swept into the fight. Albert was a sophmore honor roll student at Christian Fenger Academy High School. The street fight allegedly stemmed from an earlier shooting that involved two groups of students from different neighborhoods.

A cellphone video captured by an onlooker has been turned over to police. The video shows several people beating and stomping a person who is believed to be Albert.
