Honeywell ProWatch Compatible with LifeSafety Gemini RGL Rack Mount
The FlexPower Gemini RGL allows integrators to customize a power drawer in a rack mount configuration for added specification flexibility.
LifeSafety Power unveils the latest addition to its line of power solutions with the launch of the FlexPower Gemini RGL rack mount power management system.
The Gemini RGL is a compact, 19-inch rack tower engineered for data centers, IT closets or other areas where space is limited.
The company says it handles any LSP power controller board, giving the systems integrator the ability to create a power-centric-only drawer for larger enterprise access control and other systems.
The Gemini RGL integrates Honeywell ProWatch door controllers and power controller boards in a pull-out, easy-to-access mechanical housing, giving systems integrators the convenience of a tiered drawer configuration for their Honeywell access control specifications, according to the company.
“The Gemini line continues to expand in response to our customer’s requests for compact, integrated housings for the most popular door controllers along with power,” says Larry Ye, president and CEO of LifeSafety Power. “As space for technology and equipment becomes increasingly limited, Gemini meets the need for access control and power integration in an abbreviated, yet easy-to-service footprint.”
The solution also allows systems integrators to deploy the Helix AC redundant power solution, which allows two separate AC input connections to provide redundant AC power. In the event that one AC line fails, the Helix AC will automatically switch to the backup source.
