A Dec. 3. fire at Dos Palos High School in Dos Palos, Calif., has caused between $5 to $10 million in damage.
The fire broke out during the school’s lunch break. According to Merced Sun-Star, all 750 students and staff members were safely evacuated from the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The fire reportedly started in the school’s wood shop storage area. It took sixty-three firefighters to put out the blaze. The school’s science wing, wood shop, auto shop, and part of the industrial arts building were destroyed in the fire.
