I just came across this report from the New York Times detailing alleged hazing at Binghamton University. The scandal has prompted the university to suspend pledging at all of the school’s fraternities and sororities.

Some of the quotes in the article are truly disturbing.

“I was hosed, waterboarded, force-fed disgusting mixtures of food, went through physical exercises until I passed out, and crawled around outside in my boxers to the point where my stomach, elbows, thighs and knees are filled with cuts, scrapes and bruises,” said one student to the news source.

The school’s assistant director of Greek life told the New York Times, “My entire tenure from start to finish, I was scared to death that someone was going to die.”
