Genetec of Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, unveils the SV-16, a network security appliance powered by Genetec’s software.
The product manages up to 16 IP cameras, supports wireless connectivity and offers up to 500GB of internal storage with the possibility of adding more external storage, the company says. The SV-16 also supports all compression formats available through the company’s video surveillance system, Omnicast, including H.264, MPEG4, MJPEG and more, for optimal viewing quality.
