Galaxy Control Systems, a provider of integrated access control, video and security solutions, demonstrated new software enhancements and unveiled its new EMEA distribution partnership at Intersec 2016 recently.
The new software features allow System Galaxy users to have greater control and situational awareness in addition to being able to quickly initiate a lockdown in emergency situations. One of the new features presented was the Crisis Mode feature, which lets users change their individual access levels and lockdown specific doors or an entire facility in a crisis situation. The solutions also feature enhancements like the Command Card feature, which lets end users issue access cards for specific functions with restricted rules.
Galaxy also announced at Intersec its new EMEA distribution partnership with Anixter.
