Video: Ga. College Laptop Thief Caught on Camera
COLLEGE PARK, Ga.—A burglar broke into Shorter College twice and stole 48 laptop computers.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect using a crow bar to break into the back entrance of the school May 15, reports NBC 11. As soon as he walked into the school, he covered his face with his shirt, as if he knew the cameras were monitoring him.
However, his face was clearly seen when he entered into the storage room where the computers are stored. Additionally, the video shows the suspect wiping off surfaces that he touched with his hands.
The following night, the same man came back and stole more laptops. This time, his face was covered with a hood and he wore gloves so he didn’t leave prints.
Police are releasing the footage in hopes of catching the suspect.
