Full Sail U. Student Charged With Hate Crime

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.—Police say Xavier Nunez, 29, stabbed a classmate multiple times in the neck during their statistics class on Thursday.

Both the victim and suspect attend Full Sail University. Officials claim Nunez walked to the front of class, uttered a racial slur and attacked an African-American classmate, reports WESH.com.  Despite the number of stabs, the victim was not seriously injured.

The attack is being classified as a hate crime.
