Former Kansas School Safety Supervisor Accused of Sex Crimes

A man who worked as a school safety supervisor in Kansas until 2013 is facing charges of sex crimes against three boys.

An ex-police sergeant who was also a Wichita school safety supervisor is facing eight charges of sex crimes against three boys.

Alex Robinson, 52, will go to trial after a judge heard three males testify that he engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with them over the span of roughly 15 years. Robinson, who worked with the Wichita Police Department for 22 years, has pleaded not guilty, according to Kansas.com.

The three witnesses ranged from ages 13 to 26, and their accusations span roughly 15 years. Robinson was accused of groping two of the witnesses and sodomizing another. Robinson began working with the school district in 2006 and was placed on paid leave in 2013. He had been responsible for overseeing building and security officers.
