Former School Security Supervisor Accused of Sex Abuse

WICHITA, Kan. — A former officer with the Wichita Police Department, who also served as security supervisor for Wichita Public Schools, faces two counts of aggravated sodomy and four counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Police arrested Alex Robinson, a 22-year veteran on the force who retired in 2006, after a 24-year-old man told police that Robinson sexually assaulted him more than a decade ago, KWCH.com reports. The alleged victim was 12 years old at the time.

Investigators are now interviewing other children that Robinson knew to see if there are more victims. In addition to working for Wichita Public Schools, Robinson volunteered at the Wichita Boys and Girls Club.
