Former Employee Sues Pennsylvania Hospital for Negligence

Published: October 8, 2008

EASTON, Pa. – A former employee of Easton Hospital is suing the facility, claiming that hospital officials refused to take action against a security officer who sexually assaulted her.

The woman, whose name has not been released, filed the civil suit Oct. 2. According to her lawyer, the victim was sexually assaulted on at least two occasions in January 2007 by Ralph Robles. The lawsuit states that Robles fondled the woman and forced sexual acts on her.

Per the lawsuit, the woman approached her direct supervisor, the director of human resources, the director of information technology and the director of security about the incident. Reportedly, the four directors did not address the complaint.

The victim is seeking monetary losses from the hospital.
