Former College Police Chief Pleads Guilty to Theft

Former Texas State Technical College (TSTC) (Sweetwater campus) Chief of Police Debrah Kaye McCain pled guilty on Monday to theft of over $1,500 of a public servant, a third degree felony.

She was accused of taking $19,528.03 on April 16, 2009, while she was the Sweetwater TSTC chief of police, reports the Sweetwater Reporter.

Last year, the former police chief of the TSTC Waco campus, Robert Ashley Williams, pled guilty to abuse of official capacity. He was accused of pawning several firearms from the department’s property room.
