Forcibly-Tattooed Teen’s Parents Sue District
CONCORD, N.H. — The parents of a teen who was assaulted and tattooed on the buttocks against his will by four classmates have filed a lawsuit against the Concord School District.
In May 2010, the teen was lured by older students to a house near Concord High School, Reuters reports. The students tattooed a picture of a penis and the words “Poop Dick” on the teen’s buttocks.
Michael and Tammy Austin, the victim’s parents, allege that the district exacerbated the bullying by holding an assembly on bullying the day the teen returned to school after the incident. The suit also said that the school failed to provide promised chaperones between classes for the teen, who has attention deficit disorder.
