TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida A & M University (FAMU) is investigating a hazing incident, which happened in February and resulted in serious injuries to a pledge.

Although Florida criminalized the initiation practice last year, Marcus Jones, a FAMU sophomore, was beaten with canes for four nights in a row last month while pledging Kappa Alpha Psi.
