Fire Investigators Say Fraternity Fire May Be Arson

A fraternity house at Radford University was destroyed by a massive fire July 7, reported WSLS news.

The fire, which investigators are calling arson, took place at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house around 11 p.m.

No one was living in the house, which had been vacated for several weeks. Investigators said the fire was intentionally started inside the house on the second floor. There is no electricity inside the building that would start the fire.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Fire investigators said they were not going to look for an exact cause of the fire; however, they will keep an eye on the two other fraternity houses that are on the same street.
