A female Cobra Security guard hired by Ole Miss for traffic patrol is being called a hero after stopping an alleged kidnapping attempt on a college sophomore. Michelle Issacs was successful in intervening and preventing the University of Mississippi female student from being taken.

The female student, whose name is being withheld, was allegedly walking on campus the evening of February 10 when she was grabbed and pulled across the street toward 61-year-old Wayne Crowe’s truck. Issacs stepped in and was able to stop the attack.

Crowe has not yet been formally charged with the kidnapping attempt.
