DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. – The father of a little girl who is a student at Beulah Elementary School is suing the school to let him bring his firearm on campus.

Hugh Myers filed the lawsuit in May after the principal told him to leave his gun at home, reports MyFoxAtlanta.

The administrator told Myers he would be arrested if he brought his weapon, unless he did so when he was dropping off or picking up his child, according to the lawsuit.

Myers wants to bring the gun with him in case there is a confrontation.
