The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Department of Justice are teaming with Facebook to create AMBER Alert pages on the social platform to help in the search for missing children, reports USA Today.
Andrew Noyes, manager of public policy communications at Facebook, says there will be a page for each state, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Facebook users will receive posts in their news feeds if an AMBER Alert is issued in their area.
