TACOMA, Wash. — As part of the Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference, the Center of Excellence for Homeland Security Emergency Management (HSEM) will host its “Industry Skills Gap Forum.”
Hosted on April 2, at the Tacoma Convention Center here, the purpose of the forum is to gather information on job growth and identify workforce skills gaps from emergency management industry leaders to help inform programmatic decisions at the community and technical colleges to address educational needs of the industry. Attendees will also discuss workforce skills gaps that make filling job vacancies difficult for employers.
