Campus Safety magazine is pleased to announce that co-founder and executive director of the Force Science Institute, Dr. Bill Lewinski will be the keynote speaker of the Campus Safety Conference, which will take place March 29-31, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.

Lewinski will present “New Findings Into The Human Dynamics of Deadly Force and Other High Stress Encounters” on Wednesday, March 31. This valuable presentation is open to all attendees.

Through ground-breaking research into the human dynamics involved in complex, rapidly unfolding force encounters, the Force Science Institute has had a profound impact on law enforcement. During his Campus Safety Conference/Police TREXPO keynote presentation, Lewinski will discuss the Institute’s revolutionary findings relative to human performance under extreme stress, action/reaction timing, visual and auditory anomalies that surface during life-threatening scenarios, memory and recall challenges and other issues that can have a tremendous impact on the thoroughness and accuracy of investigations into officer-involved shootings and other force encounters.

The 2010 Campus Safety Conference offers a three-day program for hospital, school and university police agencies, public safety departments, superintendents, administrators and other campus stakeholders involved in the protection of North American campuses. The show will provide attendees with techniques and information on how they can prevent, detect and respond to the many risks and incidents that occur at today’s healthcare and educational facilities.
