EAST YORK, Ontario — A psychiatric patient from Toronto East General Hospital who is considered dangerous went missing Tuesday for over 24 hours.
The man was granted a short-term pass to leave the hospital prior to going missing, The Star reports. Police were called when he didn’t return.
The man initially came to the hospital voluntarily and was held under the Mental Health Act for treatment after an assessment.
