During the presentation, Maj. Jay Gruber, the University of Maryland’s assistant director of public safety and assistant chief of police; and Donovan Agans, the University of Texas at San Antonio’s director of business continuity and emergency management, will discuss the ways their campuses have effectively implemented their emergency alert systems.
This free interactive Web seminar will take place April 16 at 2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific. It will cover effective communication strategies before, during and after an emergency. Additionally, the importance of creating redundant communications systems, as well as the installation, integration and use of an emergency alert system will be covered during the hour-long event.
