Councils Request Improved Security in Raleigh Schools

RALEIGH, N.C.

Raleigh County school improvement councils, which consist of faculty members, parents and students, met with the board of education recently to discuss personnel, facilities and security.

Several local schools made requests to the board, including the addition of security cameras, monitoring systems, parking access control, and full-time PRO officers.

The annual meetings are intended for board members to hear about the schools’ successes and challenges.
