A college gossip Web site that allegedly publishes anonymous, malicious rumors about college students, is ceasing operations due to economic struggles and lawsuits.
Los Angeles-based JuicyCampus.com announced the “closing” of its site on January 4, citing the lack of resources needed to survive the economic downturn. A University of Delaware student sued the site’s operator nearly a year ago in an attempt to find out who posted gossip about her.
