HARTFORD, Conn. – Connecticut lawmakers will soon propose that the state designate $15 million for security improvements at schools.
The money could pay for video surveillance cameras, access control, panic alarms, training and assessments, as well as other security equipment. Legislators may introduce the proposal during the next session of the General Assembly.
