Columbia U. Student Pleads Guilty to Selling Cocaine

NEW YORK — A Columbia University student pleaded guilty on July 19 to selling cocaine to an undercover police officer.

Harrison David, who is accused of operating an on-campus drug dealing ring, agreed to the plea in exchange for six months in jail and five years of probation, Bloomberg reports. He is scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 30.

Four other students — Christopher Coles, Adam Klein, Jose Stephan Perez and Michael Wymbs — refused deals to plead guilty to drug-related charges that would have given them each five years’ probation.
