One of the high school students that allegedly organized a detailed school shooting plot in Colorado will be charged as an adult.
The decision to charge Sienna Johnson, 16, more seriously was made by a Douglas County judge Jan. 5 after prosecutors outlined the “credible” and specific attack Johnson planned to carry out the week after she was arrested, according to ktvq.com.
Johnson and a classmate at Mountain Vista High School were arrested after an anonymous tip was texted in to Douglas County police on Dec. 12 about the students’ plot to shoot up the school.
Police say Johnson had drawn a map showing where students would be during the attack and posted disturbing images on her Tumblr page. She had also purchased a BB gun to practice her aim and experimented by hurting her pets.
After Johnson was taken in and held on $1 million bond she told the district attorney’s office she would still carry out the attack if authorities let her go.

The other student involved in the plot is also 16 and will go through a psychiatric examination before a Jan. 14 court date to determine whether she’ll also be charged as an adult.
Johnson currently faces a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.
