College Cafeteria, Kitchen Shut Down After Electrical Fire
PLAINFIELD, N.J. — The kitchen and cafeteria at Union County College will be closed for an undetermined period of time after a fire gutted part of the annex on Saturday.
The fire was described in the police report as probably being electrical in nature, My CentralJersey.com reports. Much of the kitchen and cafeteria suffered moderate to severe fire, smoke and water damage, according to Union County College spokeswoman Ellen Dotto.
No injuries were reported.
