Cleveland State U Names New Campus Safety Director

Craig Stone has been hired as director of campus safety and police chief for Cleveland State University.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State University has named a new director and campus safety and chief for its campus police department.

Craig Stone was sworn into office on June 2, Cleveland.com reports.

Prior to joining the Cleveland State University Police Department, Stone served 29 years with the Columbus Police Department, where he oversaw homeland security, investigations and operations.

He also served at the command post liaison of the Homeland Security Branch for Ohio State University’s home football games.
