CCUPCA Annual Training Conference to Take Place April 9-11

LOS ANGELES – The California College and University Police Chiefs Association (CCUPCA) announces that its 2008 Training Conference will be held April 9-11in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Workshops will include:

  • California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training
  • Programs and Training Opportunities
  • Mass Communication
  • Managing Parking During a Major Incident
  • Threat Assessment: Recognizing and Preventing Violent Behavior
  • Post Executive Workshop: Review of Action Plans and Problem Solving Strategies.

    The Conference fee is $350, which includes two lunches, one dinner and two hosted receptions.

    The event will be held once again at the Embassy Suites Hotel in South Lake Tahoe.
