CCUPCA 2007 Training Conference Starts April 11

LOS ANGELES – The California College and University Police Chiefs Association (CCUPCA) announces that its 2007 Training Conference will be held April 11-13 in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Topics covered during the conference will include:

  • The time, place and manner of regulating free speech
  • Avoiding liability when hiring and training nonsworn security personnel
  • Accessing public records
  • Identity theft
  • Parking and issues of liability

The event will be held once again at the Embassy Suites in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. Rooms can be reserved online at or by calling (800) EMBASSY.
