Campus Safety is excited to announce that registration and the agenda for the 2025 Campus Safety Conference (CSC) is now live! The national event returns, July 21-23, and will be held for the first time in Austin, Texas. Attendees will experience downtown Austin with educational sessions and the host hotel under one roof at the Hilton Austin on Fourth Street.

The Campus Safety Conference is an event unlike others in the industry. CSC offers extensive networking and focuses on immersive case studies, current events, hands-on workshops, panel discussions and solutions showcases. It encourages learning by stretching outside comfort zones and open dialogue in the classroom, during receptions and with vendor partners.
“In 2024, Campus Safety Conference shifted to a national model,” says Dana McClay, Campus Safety Conference show director. “Our Atlanta event brought together representatives from 38 states for three days of peer relationship building. We saw over 450 attendees, speakers and vendor partners onsite – learning and exploring solutions together. I am excited to be back in Texas (and in Austin for the first time!) to see how our community will continue to grow and thrive together.”
CSC collaborates with presenters who have varying backgrounds and experiences and therefore offer different personal and professional perspectives. We had a competitive call for speakers process and will be focusing on a wide range of topics, including Clery Act changes, federal grant impacts, protests on campuses, developing emergency operation plans, technology and obstacles to innovation, communication plans and more. Speakers at CSC 2025 include a university public information officer, a K-12 head of security and facilities, a psychologist, a reunification coordinator, multiple directors of safety and security, law enforcement executives, a grants development associate, an environmental health director and others. It will be a robust, jam-packed three days in Texas.
What Else Can I Expect at the 2025 Campus Safety Conference?
In addition to the various offerings attendees have come to love and expect from CSC, this year’s event will feature several new and improved opportunities, including:
- Five Conference Tracks: Listening to your feedback, we have incorporated more concurrent breakouts into CSC to ensure diverse learning options throughout the event. We will have FIVE conference tracks to choose from, including Leadership, Future Planning and Emerging Solutions, Current Events, Prevention and Policy, and Team Training and Techniques. Focus on the areas of need for your team by diving in further with 20 of these one-hour, peer-to-peer sessions.

- More Networking! Embracing the local nightlife, we will be coordinating a “CSC After Hours Bar Crawl.” We encourage you to grab your friends – new and old – and follow the map for special deals and discounts at local establishments. - Consultations: Coordinating with our partners at the Grants Office, LLC, we will have one-on-one consultation appointments onsite Tuesday. If you have a project you are working on, questions about where to start, or need help navigating an open process, the team is here to help! More information on signing up will be coming soon for those registered and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Scholars Program: Now in its second year, we will be hosting a scholars program on July 20 and 21. CSC will host attendees who are actively sourcing products and solutions to improve their campuses by offering exclusive networking, tailored education, and premier product showcases. Invited scholars are decision-makers in an active buying cycle or RFP process. It’s an exciting chance to meet with partners, get your questions answered, and find a solution that works for your campus’ needs. We invite you to apply for the 2025 program.
