Wayne State University officials have settled a discrimination lawsuit filed by campus pro-life student group, WSU Students for Life. According to the lawsuit, the group claimed university officials refused the same access to student fees and facilities as other student groups.

The lawsuit challenged the constitutionality of the school’s policy, which precludes student groups with religious viewpoints from benefits that are extended to student groups with nonreligious views, according to LifeNews.com.

As part of the settlement, the university has agreed to change its student fee and facilities use policies and pay back previously denied student fee funds.
