Campus Police Officer Sentenced for Misusing Information
WACO, Texas — A judge sentenced a former Waco Independent School District police officer to two years deferred adjudication probation for misuse of official information.
Last June, Ramon Yepez, 32, used a computer terminal at the Waco ISD Police Department to search the Texas Crime Information database for an unofficial reason for reports about an individual with whom he had an altercation, KWTX.com reports.
If Yepez completes the sentence successfully, the will be no record of final conviction.
