Campus Crimes Prompt Grambling to Improve Police Force
GRAMBLING, La. — In response to recent shootings and other on-campus crimes, Grambling State University has hired a safety and security consultant to help restructure the university’s police department.
With more than 33 years of law enforcement experience in higher education, Willie Bell will develop an operational plan for campus police. Additionally, he will lead the search for a new police chief, as well as hiring up to six new officers, DailyComet.com reports.
