Calif. Student, 15, Dies After Football Practice

IRVINE, Calif. – Officials are trying to determine the cause of death of a 15-year-old Northwood High School student who collapsed during a late-afternoon football practice May 28.

According to officials, Dylan Bradshaw collapsed shortly after 5 p.m. A sports trainer tried to resuscitate him. The student was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later.

Grief counselors were available at the school to talk with students and faculty.
