Bus Driver Charged With Possession of Child Porn

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A former teacher who works as a substitute bus driver for the Issaquah School District was taken into custody by Homeland Security agents Thursday for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.

Andrew Rekdahl, 30, was caught downloading and sharing child porn under the screen name “Hboyandy,” according to undercover agents. Officials found multiple digital devices in Rekdahl’s home, including a laptop that contained 194 alleged pornographic images of children, Kirotv.com reports.

Rekdahl was laid off from his teaching position at Eastside Catholic High School due to budget cuts. He was later diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, which led a nun who runs the school to put Rekdahl back on the school’s insurance.
