Buffalo Hospital Murder Suspect’s Body Found

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The body of Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) trauma surgeon Timothy Jorden Jr. was found in a ravine near his home today.

Police say he died of a single gunshot wound to the head, reports USA Today.

Jorden, 49, was suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend, 33-year-old  nursing student Jackie Wisniewski on Wednesday. Authorities believe he lured her to an ECMC stairwell and shot her several times. He was the subject of a nationwide manhunt.
