Bowling Green State Police Union OKs Agreement

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., A proposed three-year contract with Bowling Green State University’s administration has been ratified by members of the school’s police union.

The agreement includes three-percent raises each year, as well as a $1.80 per hour pay increase for the first year. Dispatchers will receive a 65-cents per hour pay hike for the first year of the contract, as well as three-percent raises each year.

The agreement, which is retroactive to April 2005, must be approved by the university trustees before it goes into effect. The trustees are expected to vote on the contract Dec. 2.
