Bogen Nyquist C4000 Version 4.0 Offers 50+ New Features, Enhancements

Bogen Communications, a commercial audio and voice communications technology provider, will showcase the latest version of its Nyquist C4000 at this summer’s tradeshows.

Nyquist C4000 is an IP-based paging and intercom solution that leverages the latest software technologies and third-party integrations to address the evolving safety and security challenges facing today’s education facilities.

The heart of the C4000 solution is a system controller with an easy-to-use web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) accessible from any PC, tablet or mobile device, says the company. It is designed to support existing building infrastructure and integrates with LAN, WAN, and legacy speaker cabling. C4000 can be scaled to support an unlimited number of audio sources, endpoints, and zones.

The new Nyquist C4000 Version 4.0 software empowers mission-critical performance through automated server failover capabilities and scenario-based automated action sequences known as Routines. The latest release is said to deliver simplified system configuration and an automated upgrade process to enable customers to quickly deploy new features.

“Bogen Communications is committed to providing seamless, easy-to-use audio distribution and emergency paging solutions for education and commercial market segments,” said Randall Lee, vice president of marketing and product management at Bogen Communications. “The Nyquist C4000 Version 4.0 release provides a suite of new features to enhance communications for safety and security.”

Once upgraded to Version 4.0, users have access to over 50 new features and enhancements, including the 72-Hour Backup Tone Schedule, activated upon Nyquist server failure or Network failure. Additionally, National Weather Service (NWS) alerts can now be announced to specified Zones, and the alert text can be displayed through both the Nyquist Dashboard and NQ-T1100 Admin Phones.

Additional features include:

  • Access to airable, a built-in streaming internet radio service
  • Access to customizable curated streaming music from SoundMachine, a music subscription service for business
  • A 3-year subscription to all applicable software updates with the purchase of every Nyquist C4000 system
