Bank Robbery Foiled by Hospital Security Guard

SHREVEPORT, La. – A Shreveport hospital security guard assisted in the apprehension of two bank robbers.

After robbing a Capital One bank branch, Christopher Douglas, 21, and Corderral Williams, 19, were escaping to their getaway car in a Willis-Knighton Medical Center parking lot when a security guard spotted them. The medical center security officer pursued and captured one of the suspects while a Shreveport police officer caught the other.

The suspects were booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with armed robbery.
