Arrest Made in Nev. Student Murder Case

WEST WENDOVER, Nev. — An 18-year-old student at West Wendover High School was booked into the Elko County jail Monday for the murder of a 16-year-old classmate. Micaela Costanzo was found in a shallow grave near the border of Utah on March 5.

Kody Patten, a senior at the high school, previously dated Costanzo, CBS News reports. Costanzo disappeared while she was walking home from the school last week.

Over 100 volunteers searched for Costanzo over the weekend. A searcher discovered the grave about five miles west of the town. The remains in the grave were tentatively identified as those of Costanzo.
