Alleged Rapist Escapes Hospital, Yet to be Found

An alleged rapist that is considered dangerous has escaped a hospital in Oroville, Calif., after slipping through his restraints and running past a private security guard on February 14. The escapee has yet to be found.

Fifty-two-year-old Michael Dean Nunley II was arrested seven months ago on charges of rape and failure to register as a sex offender. He was awaiting trial when he was taken to Oroville Hospital for unspecified medical reasons.

Butte County Sheriff’s Officers continue to search for Nunley.
