ALBERTA — Three Alberta Health Services employees have been charged with assaulting an aboriginal man at Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Bronson Crowchild was waiting at the front of the hospital for a ride in December 2010 when two security officers told him to leave, CBC News reports. The verbal disagreement became physical, and Crowchild was later charged with assault — however, the charge was quickly dropped.
The two security guards — Romeo Pilar Banaga and Ahmed Mahmoud Montasser —have both been charged with one count of assault. Tristan Scott Coombes, a contract employee, is charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm.
