Albany Schools Get Tough on Troublemakers, Inappropriate Dress

ALBANY, N.Y. – In response to weeks of violence at two Albany schools, district officials have agreed to implement several safety measures.

High school troublemakers will be sent to a local satellite school. The district also plans to shift personnel to troubled schools and conduct more random searches. Additionally, the code of contact will be more strictly enforced and inappropriate attire, including clothing with gang colors, will be banned.
