The IS-SS-2G by Aiphone Corp., of Bellevue, Wash., is a two-gang, stainless steel, flush mount, audio-only door station for the company’s IS Series system.
Featuring a 12-gauge stainless steel faceplate, the vandal- and weather-resistant solution connects to the IS-CCU, IS-SCU, or IS-RCU using CAT-5e/6 cable. The unit has a built-in dry contact for door release (24V AC/DC, 500mA) and a contact input that can be used for connecting to a secondary call button. Power for the IS-SS-2G is provided by the exchange unit through the wire, according to the company.
